The first thing we do is take the time to get to know you. This face-to-face meeting explores your current situation, what makes you happy, what makes you concerned, where you want to go in life, what you want to do, and more. It is the most critical part of the process, and we will take as long as you need.
Based on what we learn about you and your financial goals, we develop a plan and review it with you for feedback. This is your opportunity to ask more questions, share anything you may have forgotten from our first meeting, and make adjustments.
When and only when you are comfortable with the plan we created for you will we put that plan into motion. The strategies we develop typically take a long-term approach so we don’t anticipate having to make changes unless there is a life-event that requires a change to your plan. If that is ever the case, we work with you to reevaluate your needs and act accordingly.
A key aspect of our client relationships is how we keep in touch after the plan has been executed. During the first year, we will meet 3 to 6 times, between the initial consultation, and followups. After that we meet 1 to 2 times a year to discuss your progress and any changes in your life. We are also available anytime you have questions, concerns, or just want to check in.
